JMR gets down and dirty at Moonlight trail clean-up
Jeeping Mid Rivers
Perfect weather and a great turn-out of volunteers yielded the JMR trail clean-up at Moonlight Racing Outdoor Recreation Park in Sullivan, Missouri an outstanding success! Twenty-two volunteers showed up to roll up their sleeves and dig in the trenches of the winding trails for our trail clean up event on Saturday, February 20th.
Extreme Terrain granted Jeeping Mid Rivers $350 for trail cleanup. The grant allowed JMR to purchase hand pruners, gloves, loppers and provide lunch for our 22 volunteers. The group managed to trim back and clean a total of 8 trails, collecting a mountain of trash! JMR donated two trash barrels to the park, setting what we hope to be a trend amongst off-road groups.
After a day of hard work, the group enjoyed a little play time on some of the awesome trails and terrain.
Thank you to all of our volunteers on helping to make this event a success!
